Due to Eric wining the Easykart Series
and the Grand National he was awarded a trip to Italy to
compete in the Easykart International Grand Final. We left
Miami, stopped in Philadelphia and then were off to Venice Italy.
We then headed to Jesolo to see the track. It is a great
facility. We waited to get a new kart which had his
name along with all the other winners. He got
to practice on Thursday afternoon and all day
Friday and Saturday morning. We got to qualify on Saturday
afternoon. His first qualifying session was not as good as
the second so we took the second session and thats the one
we went with. Sunday morning was much better, however at the
start of the race a kid drove into some karters behind Eric
and 9 kids where taken out and Eric was one of them.
But thats racing! Overall Eric had a great time.
He met some great
kids and had a great time with the friends he went with.
They ate
different foods. It was a great experience for him and he learned
how other kids drive. We are thankful to all that supported
him and got him to the world Championship. Next year will be
running 100cc Easykart and Yamaha Jr.Super-Can, look for him
to be running up front!!!!!!!!
Thanks for you support! EF
